Almere, the Netherlands – July 28, 2020 – Levitech announces the installation of our latest Levitrack® system at a European customer. The European customer will use the system in first instance for R&D purposes moving later this year into a high-volume manufacturing scenario for advanced solar cell applications.
“Our customer uses a stack of Atomic deposition layers for their advanced solar cell. After a thorough equipment evaluation for deposition of the stack, the Levitrack® was selected based on deposition quality, HVM readiness, and capital efficiency”, commented Jaap Beijersbergen, CEO of Levitech. “This selection for the Levitrack® is evidence that our long-term strategy of developing production solutions to enable fast ALD deposition of not only Aluminum Oxide but also other ALD layers, delivers the right product for meeting our customers’ needs.
